I was so sorry to hear about Char. I enjoyed chatting with her when she used to walk through the neighborhood.

I met Mrs. Thomas in June 1984, at a rehearsal dinner for my sister who became her daughter-in-law. Through the years I cannot remember seeing her without a sweet smile. Wonderful life, she was a blessing to so many people.
We always enjoyed seeing Mr. and Mrs. Thomas walking through our Spring Lake Village neighborhood. They loved coming to our block parties and we looked forward to chatting with them about family and friends. We remember Char talking about her children and grandchildren with love and pride. Our sympathy to your entire family from Jan and Roger White and the Buchanan/Mason/Jackson/Liberty Street neighbors.
We are saddened to hear of Charlene's passing and extend our sincere sympathy to you all. She was a fine lady in every sense. I will miss seeing her worshipping at St. Mary's when I sometimes play the organ there. Claire joins me in sending good thoughts and prayers.
